Scottish Opera take their fabulous travelling theatre to the Haddington Show in East Fortune on Saturday July 1.

Performing three 25 minute sets including an opera for children, the team are ready to unleash the full melodrama and romance of the big stage from their specially adapted trailer which is kitted out like a miniature Theatre Royal.

The trimmed down shows include Puccini’s La boheme, Gilbert & Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance and Bubble McBea, a sea themed story aimed at kids aged four to seven.

The busy outreach team have also set up a series of dates for the Murray McDavid,  a converted pilot cutter which will be sailing ‘doon the watter’ throughout the summer heading for Largs and Ardrossan. Other performances include Glasgow, Troon and Peterhead.

A fun and creative venture that improves access to exhilarating and powerful music.
