Kilmorack Gallery in Beauly, Inverness-shire, is showing an exhibition of new work by Peter Davis – A Sense of Place. Peter painted the result of walking the same stretch of Atlantic-facing Shetland coast in all weathers, taking meticulous and knowing care with each work, paring back each composition to capture ‘something simple and beautiful – the essence of a place known so deeply.’ The work can be viewed online as well as in the gallery, and a printed catalogue can be requested.
