The Barn Gallery at The Bield, Blackruthven, Tibbermore in Perthshire is offering a taster of the forthcoming region-wide Perthshire Open Studios, which starts 31st August, giving visitors an idea of what to expect when they visit artists in their studios. The exhibition is staffed by artists, including those in residence at the Barn Gallery, Jane Drysdale of Barkley Glass, Becca of Becca Thorpe Art and Diana King Jewellery – all happy to discuss their work and process towards achieving the final piece.

Perthshire Open Studios (31st Aug – 8th Sept) comprises over a hundred artists and makers across the region who will open their doors to demonstrate their practices and show their work. What’s not to like about an event hosted by the delightful-sounding Tickled Trout Cafe, Camserney Village Hall and Victoria Bloom Design Florist?
