Potfest is Scotland’s largest ceramic art event, offering the chance to browse and buy direct from over 90 makers, among the best in the UK and beyond, showing the wondrous objects, both practical and decorative, that they can create from a lump of clay. Visitors can spend the day browsing the show, speaking to the artists about their influences and processes and watching a demonstration.

Entry to Potfest, which is set under large marquees, includes access to the beautiful Scone Palace grounds and gardens, including the pinetum (pine grove) and the famous star maze.

UPDATE: Pictured above is the winner of Artmag’s Reader Prize Draw, organised in association with Potfest; congratulations to A Wilson who chose a piece by ceramicist and jeweller Jay Frazer (pictured right) at the event on 9th June. Potfest organiser Matt Cox took time to welcome and photograph the happy winner, who said, ‘Sunday was very special and I feel ever so lucky to have won such a brilliant piece of art. Such a display and wealth of talent was on show and it was fascinating to see such diversity and skill all in the one place – thank you ARTMAG!’ The pot is pictured, put to best use at home, below.
