Ten Scottish artists have been selected for the John Muir Open to develop their art and practice in a joint exhibition. Tide: Dialogues of Change at the Town House Museum and Gallery in Dunbar is part of an initiative to encourage artists to explore in contemporary ways the philosophies of the locally-born environmentalist John Muir. The exhibition includes sound installation, works made from found materials, 3D printing and painting, while a series of discussions and events will explore how we may live in a ‘greener’ future. The exhibition is staged by North Light Arts, which promotes environmental art in unexpected places.
