The festival for discerning food and drink fans sets up camp in Aberdeen this weekend where it takes over the AECC for two days. First launched in 2014 North Hop unveils a host of new craft beers and gins produced by independent boutique brewers while whipping up a full party atmosphere in the company of some barnstorming bands and musicians
This year’s crop includes brewers, bars, pop-ups, market traders, restaurants and Bake Off star James Morton, who will be chatting to fans about his new career as a boutique brewer. Interesting stars to watch for include Fierce Beer who will be offering samples of their zingy new grapefruit tinged brew while Out Of Town will exhibit two brand new beers plus a guide to Home Brewing written by the above mentioned Morton.
Music will kick off at 7.45 on Friday and run through the following afternoon and evening finishing with Scotsman ‘Band of the Year’ The Little Kicks who’ll ply their indie-rock electronica till late into Saturday night.
A bouncy, boisterous and exhilarating way to celebrate our local producers.
