Kilmorack Gallery near Beauly in Inverness-shire has an exemplary 360-degree, digital tour of its beautiful space in a converted 18th century Highland parish church. Recent arrivals include new watercolour and pigment paintings by Shetland-based Peter Davis which mimic the natural world, a trio of powerful sculptural pieces suggestive of a magical world by the masterful Steve Dilworth and the first of a series of woodcuts by Paul Bloomer, which will appear in a hardback book next year. Gallery owner Tony Davidson has also revealed himself to be a skilful writer with Confessions of a Highland Art Dealer, a memoir of his 25 years in one the UK’s most northerly art galleries, which is available from the Gallery.
