The National Theatre of Scotland hits the road with The Enemy, a Scottish take on the Henrik Ibsen play An Enemy of the People about truth, power and deception. Written by the award-winning playwright and screenwriter Kieran Hurley, the play is set in a once-great Scottish town, where a massive redevelopment project promises to bring money, jobs and new prospects. However, when Dr Kirsten Stockmann discovers a dangerous secret, she knows she must bring the truth to light – no matter the cost. Appearing in Greenock, Dundee, Edinburgh, Inverness and Perth, with accessible performances incorporating integrated BSL interpretation, audio description and captions.
