Born in 1967, Morag was worked as a graphic artist for many years before moving to Johnshaven where she lives and works as a full-time artist. She uses sketches and memory to gather information from fleeting moments in a journey, building up deep layers of paint on board and scraping-back to reveal underlying colours and textures to achieve ‘a simplified visual memory’.
