Kilmorack Gallery in Beauly, Inverness-shire is showing an exhibition marking the passage through winter: a favourite time of year at the gallery, where the usual rules are relaxed to allow new artists to be shown alongside those already established with the gallery. As Tony Davidson, the Gallery’s founder puts it, ‘think of it as a collection of smaller exhibitions and statements by a select group of artists.’

Highlights include work by myriad accomplished artists including (seen here) Iona Roberts, Ann Oram, Christopher Wood and Kirstie Cohen, and many more besides.

Established in 1997 by Tony, Kilmorack Gallery’s home is an 18th-century church in rural Inverness-shire. It exhibits paintings and sculpture year-round, and in the intervening 27 years has followed the belief that art should speak for the benefit of humanity, creating a home of international merit. The Gallery’s meticulously-maintained website has a plethora of top-flight work to view, and works are available for purchase.
