Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock is hosting Looking and Play – a display by Beacon Art Group, which meets each week to learn and experiment with new art techniques. Comprising fifteen members from Greenock and Inverclyde, the Group is led by Glasgow-based artist Beth Shapeero. The exhibition is an informal one showing works in progress, marking the mid-point of a year-long project, and showcasing the eclectic range of creative approaches in the group; for many members it will be the first time of exhibiting.

The show features works by Mary Currie, Sarah Dolan, Ruth Clark, Alison McNeill, Moira Rourke, Sheena Beaton, Margaret Moyse, Ros Park, Lorna Goodall, Veronica Pollard, Barbara Glancy and Aileen Henry.
