London chef pops up for hospice

One of London’s best known Indian chefs is heading to Leith on 27 May to help raise funds for charity. Cyrus Todiwala, who has had a Michelin Bib Gourmand at Café Spice Namaste for 15 years, will be the “pop-up” chef at Mithas for its next fund-raising night in aid of St Columba’s Hospice.

Cyrus, also an occasional TV star, will be taking charge in the kitchens in the footsteps of other charity night guest chefs, Nick Nairn and Roy Brett. Islam Mohammed, the owner of Mithas, expects an amazing evening with Cyrus, who is credited with taking Indian cookery in a different, more adventurous direction.
