With warming breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and mouth-watering home-baked desserts Edinburgh’s Café Grande is a haven from the cold December winds every day of the week. But for the ultimate winter warmer, call into the popular Bruntsfield bistro on a Sunday evening and treat yourself to some live acoustic music too. Café Grande’s Live Jazz Nights take place on Sundays from 7pm until 9pm.
With different artists playing each week it’s always a feast for the ears. The year’s programme comes to a close with Rosie Nimmo and Stuart Allerdyce performing just in time for Christmas on 18 December. The new year programme kicks off again on 15 January. [– ZK]
