Little Living Room is an Edinburgh-based social enterprise holding creativity, confidence, independence and community wellbeing as its core values. This woman and queer-led collective dedicates itself to supporting the career growth and autonomy of creative individuals in the city, and its publishing house curates works submitted by such individuals into beautiful books focused on set themes. Issue four, which is based on the theme of role-play, is now available to order.
Little Living Room celebrated its first anniversary in November last year, hosting an ‘Arty Party‘ at August_21 café to mark the occasion. This event was a wonderful first-time opportunity to become a part of the Little Living Room community – sampling the canapés and Prosecco, dabbling in drawing and browsing artworks produced by the collective in a friendly and cosy environment.
Details of future publications, events and workshops (including Mindful Movement, Polymer Jewellery and Reflective Drawing) can be found on the Little Living Room’s website and social media; the website’s shop offers the chance to support the collective by purchasing their work.
