Until 17th May
The Gallery at Linlithgow Burgh Halls is hosting an exhibition by Glasgow-based artist Alasdair Wallace, who takes inspiration from the city’s rural and urban fringes to find the surreal in the everyday. His invented landscapes combine with observations of real locations to present a world that is recognisable but unsettling, with the recurring theme of a sense that this ‘edge land’ infringes somehow on an evocation of ideal landscape.
