Sproson Gallery in St Andrews specialises in work by contemporary Scottish artists, and its new exhibition, A St Andrews Summer 2023, shines a spotlight on the work of Linda Paton, who grew up and lives in the town. Linda’s work is much-admired and sought-after – she has always been interested in drawing and painting, and worked as a visual merchandiser until diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Inspired to paint scenes from in and around the town, she also includes seascapes, still lifes and abstract paintings in her portfolio, her oils characterised by strong and vibrant colours, which she frames herself.

Also featured are works by myriad other artists including Leonie MacMillan, Philip Raskin, Claire Wills, Bruce Graham, Yvonne Hair, Sheila Fowler, Yolanda Kenny, Wayne Galloway, Pam Izzat, Sarah Koetsier and many more.

The gallery now supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
