Lillie Art Gallery, Milngavie: Mhairi Muir, Hiding Places

In Hiding Places at the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie, photographer Mhairi Muir explores escapism, the tendency to seek distraction and relief from unpleasant realities, especially by seeking entertainment or engaging in fantasy. From the physical action of running away to the simple act of listening to music through headphones, she shows how escapism can take many different forms. Also showing is the Milngavie Art Club Annual Exhibition, a diverse range of media, styles and subjects.
