Presented by Fife Contemporary and curated by Glasgow-based Panel, Ley Lines at St Andrews Museum sees Sydney-based Kate Scardifield present a new body of work responding to and interacting with objects from the past which connect Scotland’s and Australia’s under-researched social and cultural history, offering new insights into Scotland’s local museum collections. Kate Scardifield is a visual artist with an interdisciplinary and experimental studio practice. Traversing textiles, sculpture, installation, video and sound, her work has been included in numerous exhibitions throughout Australia and in recent shows in New Zealand and the United States. She links her practice to a process of anatomical enquiry.
