Open 10am – 5pm, Thursday – Monday.

Larks Gallery in Ballater, Aberdeenshire has re-opened following lockdown, and is featuring work by Mark McCallum in July, and Helen Bruce in August. Mark was born in North Yorkshire, studying at St Johns in York. He has since been widely exhibited in the UK and has many international sales, and works from his studio in rural Perthshire, Scotland. His bold palette and semi-abstract, immersive impressionistic style seek to achieve a sense of authenticity and belonging. Helen was born in Grantown on Spey and studied at Grays School of Art. She works mainly in oils, in a spontaneous and intuitive response to the landscape experienced in the Highlands and images from around the coastal villages of Catterline and Stonehaven.
