Aberdeen-based painter Kymme Fraser is November’s featured artist at Larks Gallery in Ballater. Working in acrylic and acrylic inks, Kymme paints landscapes and seascapes in a semi-abstract style, layering paint with a brush or palette knife to create depth and to capture the essence of northeast Scotland and the wider Scottish countryside.

A member of the Aberdeen Artists Society, she participates in North East Open Studios and Pittenweem Arts Festival, and has won various awards at the annual exhibition of the Stonehaven Art Group, of which she is Vice President.
