Elfingrove is an event that has transformed the famous Glasgow Kelvingrove museum, into a Santa’s workshop and village. The first thing you notice when you arrive, is the stunning light show illuminating the building in Christmassy colours. It is quite a welcome and adds to the magic of the experience. The whole tour lasts about 40 minutes, which is quite a good length if you’re visiting with young kids. Each room you visit is dedicated to a specific elf, you’ll meet the elf in charge of jokes, brussels sprouts, Christmas letters and many more! The event is being promoted as a family-orientated outing but with an opportunity for adults to enjoy a drink in one of the tents (children are allowed in the tent).

The night was well-organised with stations that offered something for everyone to enjoy. There were plenty of opportunities for some Christmassy photos and the silent disco was a hit: this will not be included in your ticket so you will need to purchase an additional ticket. For more information head here.
