282 Holburn Street,
Jane Keenan studied Printed Textiles and Fashion at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Graduating in 1998.
Working in London as a Stylist for Habitat for 5 years helped Jane to develop her print work, and created a love of simple design, geometric images and bold colour.
In 2004, Jane returned to her hometown of Aberdeen. In 2006 during a business trip to Singapore, Jane visited the botanical Gardens. The exotic flowers ignited her imagination and remains an inspiration for her work. As in nature, colour is key to Jane’s works and she finds printmaking an ideal medium to produce striking images.
Her palette ranges from bright and vibrant to soft and chalky but they are always harmonious.
Jane’s work consists mainly of Silk Screen prints which are one off originals or part of a small limited edition run.
