The Flat Cat Gallery, in Lauder in the Scottish Borders, is showing a continuous exhibition of paintings and ceramics from over forty artists and makers: this month they are joined by new work by June Bell. A native of Hawick, June works as an NHS doctor in the Borders – she has always drawn and painted, and has completed several courses at Edinburgh’s Leith School of Art drawing inspiration from her garden and the Borders countryside, and her daughter – the subject of June’s portraits, mostly using oil, wax, and oil pastel.
The works can also be viewed online, and can be purchased with delivery included in the price. In addition to the Gallery, the gift shop and café are open.
