This furniture is made from trees which once grew in the botanic gardens.

The last 18 months has been taken up with the  ‘After the Storm’ exhibition. This is at Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, in the John Hope Gateway Gallery. It is a joint effort by RBGE, Forestry Commission Scotland and SFMA to explore resilience, renewal and regeneration after a catastrophic event. It is open until May 28.

This furniture is made from trees which once grew in the botanic gardens. Information on the exhibition, all the work on show and the craftsmen involved can be found on the exhibition website afterthestorm.info

The furniture makers were selected from across Scotland and their contact details are included below if you want more information about their work.
