A new exhibition at The Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh showcases the painter Jolomo – one of the country’s most popular contemporary artists. John Lowrie Morrison has been a painter for over 50 years, his colourful, expressionistic style is often imitated, but never bettered, and his scenes of Argyll and the Hebrides – lighthouses, seascapes, crofts, mountains, moonscapes, sunsets, rocky headlands, flower meadows – are instantly recognisable as his and his alone. This new collection of over three dozen works is sure to please existing fans and garner new ones.

The Gallery supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
