6 Dundas Street

Bringing together elements of the Teddy Boy subculture, music and black urban America, Rock ‘n’ Roll at the Fine Art Society is a selling exhibition of works by John Byrne RSA. Central to the exhibition is a large scale oil, ‘The Song of the South’, which records the link between the thriving textile industry of 19th century Paisley and cotton imported from slave plantations in the American South.
