Resipole Studios, in Acharacle, Argyll is featuring the work of Jennifer Guest, who blends traditional techniques with contemporary sensibilities and is inspired by a love of the natural world, particularly the serene beauty and invigorating power of water (she’s an enthusiastic wild swimmer.) Jennifer became a full-time artist after a career as a therapist and author, publishing a number of books on emotional well-being and mental health. Her artistic process begins with a foundation of ink and coloured pencils, layered with meticulous line work to create images reminiscent of lino or woodcut prints.
