School pupils in East Lothian are being given the chance to find out about the hospitality and tourism industries with an innovative partnership involving Queen Margaret University, Jewel & Esk College, East Lothian Council and a number of hotel groups. At the East Lothian Hospitality and Tourism Academy, the youngsters will have the opportunity of accessing academic knowledge and practical skills in ways that will equip them with the best chance of securing the best jobs.

Industry names backing the project include Marriott, Novotel, Macdonald Hotels and Resorts, Jurys Inn, Mercure, Best Western Edinburgh Capital Hotel, Prestonfield, and Fraser Suites Edinburgh.
