Launched in September last year to great success, the selling exhibition Inception returns to Dalkeith Palace in May, showcasing a carefully-curated collection of contemporary artists, sculptors, photographers and painters. The organisers are seeking to develop the ethos of a celebration of creativity, as we emerge from the darkness of the pandemic.

Entry tickets, priced £3, are on sale via the event’s website, and all visitors will have the opportunity to purchase artwork during the show.

Artmag attended the opening of Inception, set in the sumptuous interiors of the imposing and opulent Dalkeith Palace, itself set in beautiful grounds of the Dalkeith estate and Country Park; these are selected highlights.
