Launched in September 2021 to great success, the selling exhibition Inception returns to Dalkeith Palace in May, showcasing a carefully-curated collection of thirty-five contemporary artists, sculptors, photographers and painters, with an inspiring additional programme of artist-led workshops, tours, an online charity auction and a spectacular evening art & supper event with Richard Demarco and fellow Inception artists. This year, ten new artists are joining for the first time, and among the programme of events there will be a new Family Day on 11th May which will include family-friendly workshops and demonstrations. Plus there will be tours of the Palace, and an online charity auction in support of Inception‘s charity partner, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, giving visitors the opportunity to bid for works by many of the artists, painters and photographers, for a worthy cause.

All visitors will have the opportunity to purchase artwork during the show.

Walter Dalkeith, who along with Taisir Gibreel and Charlotte Rostek curates the event, said, ‘Working alongside the artists, we hope to create an immersive cultural experience that showcases the art at its best and engages directly with visitors.’

The event is ticketed (£3) with tickets now on sale.
