Artists and makers in several venues across East, North and South Ayrshire are set to open their doors for Open Studios Ayrshire, offering visitors a unique opportunity to see where and how they work and to purchase original art direct from the creators. The wide range of media includes painting, print, glasswork, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, digital art and metalwork.

While many members are exhibiting in group venues, some are hosting in their home studios, with many of them giving demonstrations so the hard work and love that goes into every creation can be seen right in front of visitors’ eyes. The OAS website includes a directory of members which you can browse to plan studio visits. 

Open Studios Ayrshire was established in 2012 by a group of local artists and makers, in order to promote the wealth of artistic talent throughout the region.
