At Inverness Museum & Art Gallery, a veritable menagerie of fauna captured in paintings, photographs, ceramics, prints and sculptures inhabits Animalia, with works drawn from the in-house collections and private collections as well as contributions from invited artists. 

Pattern of Place features mixed media/textile/stitch artist Debbie Lee (whose work is pictured) who creates multi-layered landscapes of the far north of Scotland in paint, collage and thread. Debbie’s process starts with painting, followed by textile and paper collage before finally the detail is defined with machine embroidery and hand-stitching.
