Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock is showing Interchange – an exhibition bringing together work by three artists exploring the interface between image, pattern and textile processes.
Textile artist Erin McQuarrie uses traditional techniques to interpret and respond to contemporary life. Weaver and designer Heather Shields specialises in contemporary textiles characterised by clean, linear forms, an intuitive approach to colour and a strong graphic edge. Printmaker, illustrator and ceramicist Suzie Cichy focuses on still-life themes.

This exhibition follows the Beacon’s highly-successful Summer Open Exhibition, which shone a light on the work of Inverclyde artists and attracted around 1,600 visitors to the venue.
