Larks Gallery in Ballater normally highlights one of its associated artists every month: this December, it is showing an exhibition of paintings by three artists: inspired by memories of a May 2022 trip to the isle of Harris, Harris Reflections features pieces by Findon Village artist Morag Stevenson (whose work is pictured), the Gallery’s owner Pip Will, and Banchory artist Helen Bruce, who shared the trip. The show reflects the wild beauty of Harris, its striking contrasts of wild barren mountains and beautiful white beaches, the unique ‘Harris blue’ sea colour, plus its turbulent history and ever-changing weather that make Harris altogether unforgettable.
