Ayrshire charity, Hansel, is looking for artists to support its forthcoming art exhibition which will be held from Thursday 13 th to Sunday 16 th June at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway.
The Little Paintings Exhibition & Sale has been held annually since 2008 raising £125,000 for the charity and has attracted support from around Scotland including established artists Gerard M. Burns, James S Davis and Lin Pattullo.
Each year more than 50 artists take part in the event creating original artworks which all measure the same size, 20cm x 20cm, making it as easy as possible for them to donate a piece of work.
Agnes Paton, Fundraising & Communications Manager said
“We’ve had some terrific artists lend their support over the years, both amateur as well as more established names, and we’re keen to hear from any artists who might be willing to support this year’s Exhibition. It’s a great opportunity for the public to buy a unique piece of artwork as well as support a worthwhile cause. We’re celebrating our eleventh anniversary this year, which shows just how popular it is, in a new venue and have already received some of the first artworks which look fantastic.”
Interested artists should contact Debbie Campbell on 01563 830340 or Debbie.firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
Hansel is one of Ayrshire’s leading care organisations supporting people and their families living with a learning disability and those with autism. Further information is available from www.hansel.org.uk
