RSA New Contemporaries 2023, the long-standing annual exhibition of work by new graduates of Scotland’s art schools, returns for its fourteenth year to showcase some of Scotland’s best and boldest emerging artists under one roof.

The exhibition showcases the work of 57 graduates, selected from their 2021 degree shows, and embodies the bold ambition of previous years, with a diverse array of painting, sculpture, film-making, photography, printmaking, installation, performance and architecture.

The exhibition has been convened by Annie Cattrell RSA, who worked alongside fellow Academicians and representatives from the country’s five main colleges of art, and schools of architecture – the latter’s graduates selected by this year’s Architecture convener Rab Bennetts RSA.
