The Nomads Tent in Edinburgh is a specialist centre for eastern and middle-eastern rugs, kilims, hand-crafted artefacts, carpets, ceramics, cushions, jewellery, furniture and textiles. It hosts sales and special offers throughout the year, and is hosting Boujee Boujaads – a special selling exhibition of vibrant, handwoven contemporary and vintage Moroccan rugs, combining old patterns with abstract and modernist designs by the weaver, inspired by the mountainous landscapes in which the rugs are created. A preview evening with refreshments on Thursday 17th March at 6pm will be accompanied by a live performance by Omar Afif (pictured) of enticing North African music.
