Dance International Glasgow (DIG) returns to the Tramway and outdoor locations in Glasgow with a range of UK and international performers. Highlights include the Abhinaya Dance Academy performing in the Bharatanatyam classical dance style from South Asia, a live interactive dance performance with an in-person and digital cast of Palestinian dancers using their bodies as living archives to reflect on the future of the Palestinian refugee cause and its connection to the current global refugee crisis, and World’s Evolution, exploring the journey of humanity from its African origins to the present day in a blend of street dance styles and experimental movement.
