Gin & Pâtisserie Pairing is the latest thing to hit the burgeoning Scottish gin scene. A world first, this sensory delight is the result of a partnership between Gin Club Scotland – the world’s only touring gin tasting business – and the Scottish Baking Awards Outright Winner 2014, Hautecake by Sonnda Catto.
The philosophy is about feeding the senses. It takes your taste buds on a tour of different flavour profiles – with a gin flight featuring four gins, each perfectly matched with a sublime pâtisserie.
Working with the full complement of big brand and small-batch gins home-grown in Scotland, plus new, artisanal gins from across the UK and further afield, Gin Club Scotland has hand-picked a selection of fruity, floral, sweet and bright green gins for gin-lovers to choose from. In turn, these gins have been carefully matched with Hautecake’s award-winning gâteau, macaron and financier – plus a specially created sponge with locally-foraged ingredients to complement the pine and herbaceous qualities of juniper.
Gin & Pâtisserie Pairing is perfect for birthday and hen parties, family get-togethers, wedding receptions and drinks receptions – in your home or a venue of your choice!
