Glasgow-born and based in Edinburgh, Gerald’s work is based on his surroundings, often the people he sees at recreation, looking for something special in an ordinary, familiar situation. He says, ‘When it becomes a painting it becomes ‘different’.’ Gerald has ben exhibited in Scotland , London and France.
