Until 16th Aug
Gallery Q Dundee has reopened with limited opening hours given the restrictions post-lockdown. Private appointments also available. Sigrid Shone and Martin Hill are established exhibitors with the Gallery. Fife-based Sigrid is exhibiting her verre eglomise or ‘gilded glass’ studies of roses – a first for her in this technique. Martin is based in Dundee and is exhibiting some pastel work alongside his wonderful, expressive oil paintings of wildlife, still life, streetscapes and landscapes.
Other artists include Derek Roberston, Kim Dewsbury, Frank To, and new work from Jean Martin, Nichola Martin, Fiona Sturrock, Helga Chart, Jackie Cartwright and Pauline Patrick, plus Elizabeth Haines, and watercolours by Graham Wands from his previous exhibition.
The work is available to buy, alongside jewellery, ceramics and glasswork; the gallery supports the Own Art finance scheme.
