Fraser Gallery, St Andrews: Jack Morrocco – Reflection

Through Christmas

The Fraser Gallery in St Andrews. Fife, hosts a new solo exhibition of the work of Jack Morrocco.

Recognised as one the leading Scottish painters, Jack Morrocco studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee, and later under pop artist Peter Blake. Working from his studios in Fife on the Cote d’Azur, he has developed a powerful, unique style, fostering a strong following of international collectors.

Recalling and recording many trips, chiefly to the sunnier spots of Europe and the Mediterranean, together with many hours in the studio working with images and souvenirs, Morrocco showcases the lessons he has learned using light and colour, form and subject, distilling an essence to put down on canvas.
