City Contemporary Art Gallery in Perth’s dedicated solo show space is given over to a selection of landscapes by the acclaimed pastel painter Fiona Haldane, with Scottish scenes ranging from the west coast, Glencoe and Speyside to closer to her home on the Tay.

Meanwhile the gallery’s Autumn Show continues (until 12th Nov) with a wide range of new work by guest artists Sarah Carrington (mixed media paintings of the Scottish west coast) and Colin Brown (Dada-ist mixed media and collage work) along with regular exhibitors Jonathan Shearer (landscapes painted en plein air), Adrian Wiszniewski RSA (exuberant fantasy figures), Ian Cook RSW RI RGI (figurative work in a cubist/abstract style), Ewan John (abstract paintings influenced by landscape and neolithic settlements), Fiona Haldane (pastel landscapes), Garry Harper (mixed media paintings inspired by the human figure), Kris McKinnon (landscapes in a bright, modern colour palette) and Mark Beresford (cityscapes).
