The Save The Children  (Ayr and District) Annual Art Exhibition at the Maclaurin Gallery in Ayr features some 400 paintings from around 220 artists from the west of Scotland. This year sees the introduction of Cameo Cards – unframed, postcard-sized paintings donated by artists and for sale at a reasonable price. Proceeds of this part of the exhibition will support Save The Children’s work with families in Scotland, while proceeds from the sale of framed pictures will benefit children worldwide. This year’s raffle prize is Fiona Graham’s ‘Snapshot from a Glasgow Train’. Last year Fiona’s paintings of Glasgow tenements were voted the most popular on display by visitors.
