Until 1st February
Edinburgh’s Fine Art Society presents its annual exhibition of Scottish printmaking, featuring three centuries of etchings, drypoint, woodcuts and lithography, including prints by Sir Muirhead Bone, James McBey, and Robert Sargent Austin. A group of rare prints by James McIntosh Patrick will also be displayed, alongside work by Ian Fleming, Gerald Brockhurst, Charles Tunnicliffe and William Wilson, and nineteen prints by John Clerk of Eldin.
Also showing is the first in a series of exhibitions that draw on the Gallery’s pictures, curated to explore distinct themes and periods. Hang 1 focuses on Scottish portraiture, still lifes and landscapes from the 17th and 18th centuries.
