The secret world of wild food will be unlocked by one of Edinburgh’s leading chefs, Paul Wedgwood. Calling on expert forager Robin Harford, Paul is offering a one-day foraging course followed by a feast of the foraged foods at Wedgwood the Restaurant on the Royal Mile. The students will find out how to identify wild edible plants and learn to cook, prepare and preserve them. The foragers will be immersed in the mystery, history and folklore of wild food and taught how to forage sustainably, and about safety guidelines and the law surrounding the plants. The day – on 27 May – starts at 10am and tickets are £85 per person.
