The Grand Gestures at Fire Station Creative in Dunfermline features the latest works in the first solo show by Celie Byrne comprising over 20 large and small oil portraits of various members of the eponymous band. There was never any doubt that Celie Byrne would become an artist, practically raised with a paint brush in her hand by her artist mother and famous artist and playwright father, John. She studied Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and has exhibited at the Paisley Art Institute, Cork Street Gallery in London, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Scottish Academy.
