Fidra Fine Art‘s next exhibition, Dominique Cameron‘s Moor and Ann Cowan‘s Dunbar Sketchbooks open Sat 22 Aug from 11am – 5pm. Following this, the Gallery will revert to being open for walk-ins as usual, with the customary lockdown restrictions, as the gallery follows guidance relating to social distancing and public safety, restricting access to one person or family group at a time.
Dominique and Ann are two of the Gallery’s most popular artists, and completed these bodies of work over the course of around 9 months before the Covid lockdown. Dominique made repeated visits to the expansive, timeless, wilderness of Rannoch Moor in the Scottish Highlands, while Ann explored the more urban setting of the streets and harbour of the small coastal town of Dunbar at the mouth of the Firth of Forth in East Lothian.
