Feeding the heart of the Festival

Café Hub

The eatery right at the heart of the Festival has just unveiled its new menu. Situated in the headquarters of the Edinburgh International Festival on the Royal Mile, Café Hub adds seasonal specials like poached salmon salad to its favourites which include fish and chips and haggis, neeps and tatties. Share a plate of roasted veg, feta, olives and bread over a bottle of wine for the perfect Festival pick-me-up. There’s also the ever popular breakfast and a classy afternoon tea. With extended August opening (Mon-Sat 9am-8pm and Sun 9am-6pm) it makes this the ideal all-day Festival food stop.

Café Hub’s new pre-Tattoo suppers have been an instant success. No doubt the location so near the Castle is a key attraction, but the two courses of delicious Hub food plus a drink for £22 must play a part. In fact there are only a few tables left this year, so the word is to make sure you book early next year.
