Gaston Welisch’s work, which is on show at Glasgow gallery and café The Alchemy Experiment, explores the stories of everyday people in mundane moments, capturing moments of joy and sorrow. He uses cinema-style framing to suggest a larger narrative beyond the captured moment, creating empathy and contemplation of the intersection between viewers’ own lives and the experience of this ‘new world’.
